Early work has begun in Kasey's Bend.
Approximately one and a half tons (2,485 pounds) of driftwood rock arrived and
the initial design has started to take place. Every rock in the layout has
been moved around at least six times. The wooden stakes indicate the
placement of the bed.

The forms have gone up for the concrete
roadbed. Some areas are very thick.

The concrete fills the forms.

This is how things looked in the beginning.
Lots of fill-in plants. They were taken out as more suitable plants were
found. These plants required a lot of attention and were used as a fill to
keep neighborhood cats out.

This is how it looks today.
